Top 3 Maths Apps for Primary Students

‘The only way to learn mathematics is to do mathematics’ (Paul Halmos)

Regular practice can really help children master the basics such as learning the times tables and number bonds. Apps are a great way of providing short bursts of practice. Screen time can be both fun and educational! Here are my personal favourite three apps for primary school students. They are enjoyable, engaging, and effective. Children love the challenge and the immediate feedback. My kids loved using them too!

1 King of Maths by Oddrobo Apple Android

A fun and challenging Maths game set in medieval times. There are two versions to try, King of Maths Jr and the more difficult King of Maths.

2. Math Bingo by ABCya Apple Android

Great for helping children learn addition, subtraction, multiplication and division facts. Fast and furious fun!

3. Squeebles Times Table by KeyStageFun Apple Android

A really fun game to help your child learn the times tables.
